At the age of thirty-nine, Paul was a retired multi-millionaire. Yet, when I first met Paul in the late 1980’s he was a high school teacher and coach (painting houses and raising a tobacco crop on the side) struggling to make financial ends meet for himself and his family. Even then, I was impressed with Paul’s “giving” spirit, his desire to help and to give to others. To this day, a spirit of generosity characterizes my friend, Paul Orberson.
On November 11, 1990, Paul was introduced to and signed up as a representative of Excel Telecommunications, an up-and-coming network marketing company. That was the beginning of Paul striving for and achieving the American Dream of financial Independence.
The realization of his dream was not without struggles and hard-ships. In fact, after just eighteen months with Excel, Paul wanted to quit and actually tried to sell his network marketing business. However, Paul persevered and within the next three-and-one-half years became the most successful network marketer in the shortest amount of time in the history of the network marketing industry.
